I’m Divya, a mum of two little girls and a Certified Paediatric sleep consultant based in London.
I know all too well about sleep deprivation. My first baby was a pretty challenging sleeper, she woke every hour at night, she would only sleep in my arms for every single nap, it would take FOREVER to rock her to sleep and she would be up 20 minutes later!
I was so SLEEP DEPRIVED and struggling to fully ENJOY MOTHERHOOD. My mummy friends would always talk about their perfect little sleepers who slept through the night, and I constantly felt like I was doing something wrong.
One night when I was doing an all-nighter with my girl, when I felt like I was close to breaking-point and I started googling baby sleep consultants and finally contacted one for help.
I was so SCEPTICAL about SLEEP TRAINING my baby because I didn’t want my girl to feel abandoned or distressed with any strategies that meant I left her alone to cry-it out.
After I got started on my journey, I learned there were far more gentle ways to teach my baby new sleep skills, and I never looked back. It was the best decision I could have made for my baby, for myself and my whole family.
I have since spent years studying the latest scientific evidence on infant sleep and trained with some of the leading international academics and experts in this field.
I have completed the Holistic Sleep Coaching Programme, which is the most rigorous training in the UK on baby and infant sleep and its the only qualification in the country which is accredited by the OCN Level 6.
My training and experience enables me to make a holistic assessment of your child’s sleep and provide appropriate support using gentle, evidence-based strategies.
